Sniper Sobble is clearly meant to be paired up with the move Snipe Shot. Sniper boosts damage from critical hits and Snipe Shot has a higher critical hit rate. It’s not the most sound strategy since it’s based on RNG, but it’ll make landing critical hits more exciting.

To get Sniper Sobble in Pokemon Sword & Shield, first you’ll need to transfer any Pokemon you want from Sword & Shield into Pokemon Home on your Nintendo Switch. Once this is done, then you’ll move on to the phone step of the process.

Open the Pokemon Home mobile app, tap the button at the bottom of the screen, and tap on Mystery Gifts. Inside of Mystery Gifts you’ll see a button labeled Gifts Box. Inside this box you should see something called Gift for connecting to Galar 3. Tap there and claim the gift.

Now Sniper Sobble will be in your Box in Pokemon Home. You’ll need to go back to your Switch in order to get this mon into Sword & Shield. Launch the Home app and transfer your brand new Sobble into the game.
