Pokemon Sun and Moon – Running

Recommended Videos

You don’t want to spend your entire journey in the Alolan region just walking, do you? Thankfully, Pokemon Sun and Moon doesn’t require you to obtain the running shoes before your character is finally able to start sprinting around the islands. This time around, you can do it as soon as you gain control of your character.

If you just push the directional pad in any direction, your character will walk at a fairly brisk pace. However, if you hold down the B button while moving, your character will start running, and you’ll be able to move around a lot more quickly. This is especially useful during the early parts of the game where you don’t have access to a bicycle or any other means of fast travel just yet. Running will allow you to move between areas much more quickly, so it won’t be too much of a hassle if you do need to backtrack at any point in the game.

And that’s all you need to know about running and sprinting in the game. Do you have any other tips and tricks for getting around faster in Sun and Moon? Feel free to let us know in the comments down below.
