Technical Machines (you may know them as TMs for short) are items used to teach Pokemon specific moves. You can create the perfect Pokemon by mixing their natural abilities with one of these, so they’re definitely desired by most, if not all, serious trainers. There are 100 TMs hidden throughout the Alola Region, the new area introduced in Pokemon Sun and Moon. Bellow you’ll find the name and location of each one available. Get ready to do some serious collecting:

TM 01: Work Up – Obtained in Hau’oli City as a gift for defeating all of the trainers in the Trainer School.

TM02: Dragon Claw – Found in the Vast Poni Canyon on Poni Island in a small niche on a wall.

TM03: Psychock – Found near the Lake of the Sunne on Ula’ula Island in the corner of a stone building.

TM 04: Calm Mind – Found in the Seafolk Village Pokemon Center on Poni Island. You purchase it for 10,000 Poke Dollars.

TM05: Roar – Found near Kala’e Bay on Melemele Island in a small cavern to the southwest of the water.

TM06: Toxic – You can get this one on the docks in Aether Paradise. In the center of the map (which is shaped like a diamond) head to the left side where you’ll find it in a corner.

TM07: Hail – You can purchase this one for 50,000 Poke Dollars in the Battle Royal Dome Pokemon Center on Akala Island.

TM08: Bulk Up – Yours for 10,000 Poke Dollars at the Konikoni City Pokemon Center on Akala Island.

TM09: Venoshock – Another one that you can purchase at the Konikoni City Pokemon Center for 10,000 Poke Dollars.

TM10: Hidden Power – You get Hidden Power as a gift from the Power Checker at the Paniola Ranch Day-Care on Akala Island.

TM11: Sunny Day –  Save up 50,000 Poke Dollars and purchase this one from the Battle Royal Dome Pokemon Center on Akala Island.

TM12: Taunt – There’s a caravan on Route 12 on Ula’ula Island. A “Punk Guy” (he’s dressed in black) will gift you this TM. He’ll be in one of the trailers.

TM13: Ice Beam – Found within Mount Lanakila on Ula’Ula Island, in a small cavern.

TM14: Blizzard – Will cost you 30,000 Poke Dollars in the Seafolk Village Pokemon Center on Poni Island.

TM15: Hyper Beam – You can buy this from the Seafolk Village Pokemon Center on Poni Island for 50,000 Poke Dollars.

TM16: Light Screen – Yours for 10,000 Poke Dollars at the Heahea City Pokemon Center on Akala Island.

TM17: Protect – Also purchased at the Heahea City Pokemon Center for 10,000 Poke Dollars.

TM18: Rain Dance – Sold for 50,000 Poke Dollars at the Battle Royal Dome Pokemon Center on Akala Island.

TM19: Roost – Sold at the Malie City Pokemon Center on Ula’ula Island for 10,000 Poke Dollars.

TM20: Safeguard – Sold at the Heahea City Pokemon Center on Akala Island  for 10,000 Poke Dollars.

TM21: Frustration –  Head to the Malasada Shop in Malie City (Ula’ula Island) and talk to the Oranguru.

TM22: Solar Beam – Sold in the Seafolk Village Pokemon Center on Poni Island for 10,000 Poke Dollars.

TM23: Smack Down – Sold in the Malie City Pokemon Center on Ula’ula Island for 10,000 Poke Dollars.

TM24: Thunderbolt – Found in Poni Planes on Poni Island. Once you enter the area, head left and make your way up, then head all the way to the left and go down to find this one on a rock.

TM25: Thunder – Sold in the Seafolk Village Pokemon Center on Poni Island for 30,000 Poke Dollars.

TM26: Earthquake – Found in Resolution Cave on Poni Island by using Tauros. You will need to first become champion to access this area from the north of Ancient Poni Path, so this is an endgame TM.

TM27: Return – Given to you by the Oranguru in the Malasada Shop in Malie City (Ula’ula Island).

TM28: Leech Life – Head all the way east on Route 9 in the lower right hand corner of Akala Island to find this TM in a corner near the water.

TM29: Psychic – This is a gift from Wicke when you leave Aether Paradise for the first time.

TM30: Shadow Ball – Found on Route 14 on Ula’ula Island. Head west near the water and you’ll find it at the base of where there looks to have once been a tower (It’s a circle with bent steel around it).

TM31: Brick Break – Found in the first room of the Verdant Cavern on Melemele Island.

TM32: Double Team – Sold in the Konikoni City Pokemon Center on Akala Island for 10,000 Poke Dollars.

TM33: Reflect – Sold in the Heahea City Pokemon Center on Akala Island for 10,000 Poke Dollars.

TM34: Sludge Wave – Sold in the Seafolk Village Pokemon Center on Poni Island for 10,000 Poke Dollars.

TM35: Flamethrower – Found between the Ancient Poni Path and Vast Poni Canyon on Poni Island, which you can access after becoming champion.

TM36: Sludge Bomb – Found in a bedroom that has a Lapras on the bed in the Shady House found on the top left of  Ula’ula Island.

TM37: Sandstorm – Sold in the Battle Royal Dome Pokemon Center on Akala Island for 50,000 Poke Dollars.

TM38: Fire Blast – Sold in the Seafolk Village Pokemon Center on Poni Island for 30,000 Poke Dollars.

TM39: Rock Tomb – Found on Route 7 on Akala Island after dropping down a very small ledge.

TM40: Aerial Ace – Sold in the Malie City Pokemon center on Ula’ula Island for 10,000 Poke Dollars.

TM41: Torment – Found in Akala Island on Route 5. Use Tauros to head down near the geysers where you’ll find this one.

TM42: Facade – Sold in the Malie City Pokemon Center on Ula’ula Island for 10,000 Poke Dollars.

TM43: Flame Charge – Given as a gift from Colress on Route 8 on Akala Island.

TM44: Rest – Given as a gift from Hypno in the Thrifty Megamart on Akala Island.

TM45: Attract – Head to the Hano Grand Hotel on Akala Island, where you’ll receive this from a man who is disguised as Machamp. This happens after an issue between two golfers is resolved.

TM46: Thief – Use Tauros in the back room of Verdant Cavern on Melemele Island.

TM47: Low Sweep – Sold in the Konikoni City Pokemon Center on Akala Island for 10,000 Poke Dollars.

TM48: Round – Found in the Hau’oli City Shopping District on Melemele Island. Given to you by a man with an Alolan Grimer.

TM49: Echoed Voice – Found just north of the Hau’oli City Marina on Melemele Island in the grass.

TM50: Overheat – Found in the Poni Meadow on Poni Island after becoming Champion. Just head back to the Ancient Poni Path and head north to reach this area.

TM 51: Steel Wing – Sold in the Malie City Pokemon Center on Ula’ula Island for 10,000 Poke Dollars.

TM52: Focus Blast – Sold in the Seafolk Village Pokemon Center on Poni Island for 30,000 Poke Dollars.

TM53: Energy Ball – Found on the Grass Trial Grounds. Head to the left of the area then work your way around to the right to reach a new area where you’ll find a boulder that Machamp can push. Past that point is this TM.

TM54: False Swipe – Gift from Professor Kukui after defeating Kahuna Hala on Melemele Island.

TM55: Scald – Found on Route 5 on Akala Island in a small grassy patch on a slope.

TM56: Fling – Found on Route 2 on Melemele Island near the Hau’oli Cemetery. Just talk to the woman you see being carried by Machamp.

TM57: Charge Beam – Found on Akala Island on Route 5 in a patch of grass near the southern groups of ponds. (To the west of the route is a groups of small ponds near a Poke Center).

TM58: Sky Drop – Defeat all of the trainers along Route 8 on Akala Island.

TM59: Brutal Swing – Also found on Akala Island’s Route 5, north of the Poke Center.

TM60: Quash – Defeat all of the trainers in Poni Plains on Poni Island.

TM61: Will-O-Wisp – Found in Konikoni City on Akala Island. You can reach the TM by accessing Diglett’s Tunnel.

TM62: Acrobatics – Found in the back area of Ten Carat Hill on Melemele Island.

TM63: Embargo – You’ll get this as a gift from the Magnemite training Scientist in the Geothermal Power Plant on Ula’ula Island.

TM64: Explosion – Use Sharpedo on the lower left section of the Melemele sea to access a small cave behind the mountain.

TM65: Shadow Claw – Sold in the Konikoni City Pokemon Center on Akala Island for 10,000 Poke Dollars.

TM66: Payback – Sold in the Malie City Pokemon Center on Ula’ula Island for 10,000 Poke Dollars.

TM67: Smart Strike – Gift from Professor Kukui after the defeating Trail Captain Mallow on Akala Island.

TM68: Giga Impact – Sold in the Seafolk Village Pokemon Center on Poni Island for 50,000 Poke Dollars.

TM69 Rock Polish – Sold in the Malie City Pokemon Center on Ula’ula Island for 10,000 Poke Dollars.

TM70: Aurora Veil – Sold in the Heahea City Pokemon Center on Akala Island for 30,000 Poke Dollars.

TM71: Stone Edge – Sold in the Seafolk Village Pokemon Center on Poni Island for 30,000 Poke Dollars.

TM72: Volt Switch – Found on Route 10 on Ula’ula Island. Just head east towards the water.

TM73: Thunder Wave – Use Lapras on Route 7 (Akala Island) to head to the island with two large rock formations on it. You’ll find this one there.

TM74: Gyro Ball – Found on Route 11 (Ula’ula Island) on the eastern split (it splits on the west and east) hidden in some trees.

TM75: Swords Dance – Sold in the Malie City Pokemon Center on Ula’ula Island for 10,000 Poke Dollars.

TM76: Fly – Gift from the girl with the sunhat in the Malie City Library on Ula’ula Island.

TM77: Psych Up – Defeat all trainers on Route 12 (Ula’ula Island).

TM78: Bulldoze – Sold in the Malie City Pokemon Center on Ula’ula Island for 10,000 Poke Dollars.

TM79: Frost Breath – Found on the Ancient Poni Path by accessing the area through the Breaker Coast.

TM80: Rock Slide – Use Sharpedo to break up the rocks around Melemele Island.

TM81: X-Scissor – Found on Route 16 (Ula’ula Island) between the Pokemon Center and a small building.

TM82: Dragon Tail – Sold in the Konikoni City Pokemon Center on Akala Island for 10,000 Poke Dollars.

TM83: Infestation – Use Tauros on Route 3 (Melemele Island).

TM84: Posion Jab – Found on Route 17 (Ula’ula Island) just off to the side of the street in some brown grass.

TM85: Dream Eater – There is a maze in the Haina Desert on Ula’ula Island. To find this TM, follow these directions: Head into the desert and go up, right, up, right, left, down. 

TM86: Grass Knot – Found when you enter the Lush Jungle on Akala Island from the back. It’s hidden in a small niche past some tall grass.

TM87: Swagger – You get this From Guzma’s mother at her house on Route 2 (Melemele Island).

TM88: Sleep Talk – Enter Paniola Town on Akala Island from Route 6 and you’ll find this near some crates to the south of the center.

TM89: U-Turn – Sold in the Malie City Pokemon Center on Ula’ula Island for 10,000 Poke Dollars.

TM90: Substitute –

TM91: Flash Cannon – Found on the large submarine boat at the docks of the Seafolk Village on Poni Island.

TM92: Trick Room – Gift from Kahili after you become Champion. Just head to the Hano Grand Hotel on Akala Island.

TM93: Wild Charge – Found on Route 15 (Ula’ula Island) on the stone square at the north of a grassy island.

TM94: Surf – You’ll have to head to the Poni Breaker Coast and defeat the two female trainers that are there.

TM95: Snarl – Defeat all trainers on Route 10 (Ula’ula Island).

TM96: Nature Power – Defeat all trainers on Route 5 (Akala Island).

TM97: Dark Pulse – Jump down the ledge on the Poni Coast.

TM98: Waterfall – Obtained from beating the same two trainers you defeated to get Surf.

TM99: Dazzling Gleam – Found in the Vast Poni Canyon in a small circular area on the map.

TM100: Confide – Found in the Hau’oli Cemetery on Melemele Island in some grass to the right of the third row from the bottom.
