How to Get to the Pokemon Mansion

This mansion is found just south of Hearthome City, on the northern end of the long Route 212. Walk down the path that leads out of Hearthome City, then turn right when you reach the body of water at the bottom. You’ll see a sign leading into a brick enclosure that houses the Pokemon Mansion.

There are plenty of items to pick up inside the mansion, so check all of the rooms before exiting through the back to get to the Trophy Garden. Enter the second room in the left hallway and speak to the maid to get a Soothe Bell, which is an item that helps increase Pokemon friendship faster.

You can also find a Great Ball sitting on the floor, one more room over to the left. And in the office to the right of the main lobby, you can pick up TM 87 Swagger, as it’s just sitting in the corner of the room.

How the Trophy Garden Works

The Trophy Garden is the plot of land at the back of the mansion. Go through the top doorway from the lobby to get there. This garden area contains a few common Pokemon like Pikachu, Kricketune, Staravia, and more, but you’ll only see its true potential after obtaining the National Dex.

Once you have the National Dex, the Pokemon Mansion owner in the office will tell you a story about specific, rare Pokemon, which will cause them to appear in the Trophy Garden for you to catch. The Pokemon he names will change daily and using this method, you can catch the following Pokemon:

  • Eevee
  • Porygon
  • Igglybuff
  • Jigglypuff
  • Marill
  • Azurill
  • Clefairy
  • Meowth
  • Chansey
  • Castform
  • Plusle
  • Minun
  • Bonsly
  • Mime Jr
  • Happiny
