Pokemon Legends Arceus: How to Wait & Pass Time

Pokemon Legends Arceus is the latest entry in the popular Pokemon franchise, and it’s also a rather radical departure from the typical series formula fans might be used to. This game is set in the Hisui region, and also features a semi open-world where players can freely explore various instanced zones, catch Pokemon by manually throwing Poke Balls, and gather resources to craft items. Here’s how to wait and pass time in Pokemon Legends Arceus.

Most open-world games feature a dynamic day/night and weather cycle, and that’s the case with Pokemon Legends Arceus as well. Certain Pokemon will only come out at night, and some requests can only be completed during specific times of the day. While it is possible to literally just stand around and wait for time to pass, that’s a pretty inefficient way to play the game if you’re trying to knock out your requests quickly.

Waiting and Passing Time in Pokemon Legends Arceus

  1. First off, like we said, time will pass naturally as you play the game.

If you have plenty of Pokemon to capture during the daytime, keep doing so, and time will eventually pass and transition to nighttime.

  2. You can also rest to force time to pass.

You can do this by either heading back to your quarters in Jubilife Village, or interact with the tent at any base camp in the open-world. Interact with it using the A button, then select how long you want to rest for. You can choose to wake up in the morning, in the evening, or in the nighttime. You can also just rest for a little while if you don’t want too much time to pass. This will also heal up your Pokemon.

The nice thing about base camps is that you can fast travel back to them anytime you want, as long as you aren’t being actively pursued by a wild Pokemon. This is a great way to fast forward time quickly so you can complete any time-locked requests on your list, or catch Pokemon you wouldn’t otherwise encounter during the daytime.

That’s all you need to know about how to wait and pass time in Pokemon Legends Arceus. Be sure to check our guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
