What Is the Linking Cord?

The Linking Cord is an evolution item in Pokemon Legends Arceus, used to evolve Pokemon that previously needed to be traded to evolve in previous games.

It’s a reference to the old ‘Link Cable‘ used to connect Game Boy handheld consoles all those years ago.

Getting the Linking Cord in Pokemon Legends Arceus

  1. You can buy a Linking Cord from Simona at the Trading Post for 1,000 Merit Points

The Trading Post can be found in Jubilife and has a yellow flag with a Togepi on it.

  2. Linking Cables can also be found in Space-Time Distortion Zones

Look around on the floor when you’re exploring one of these mysterious zones. Even if you don’t find a Linking Cable, you’ll get a ton of rare items you can sell for extra cash, or use on your adventures.

  3. Get a Linking Cable as a Reward for Completing Quests

Specifically, completing the ‘Getting to Know the Ghosts’ request (number 64) will reward you with a Linking Cable.
