How to Check Friendship Levels in Pokemon Legends Arceus

You’ll gain the ability to check how your Pokemon feel about you fairly early on in the game. After completing the main quest involving Kleavor and the Pearl clan in the Obsidian Fieldlands, report back to the Galaxy Team headquarters.

After that, Jubilife Village will be full of brand-new Requests to take on. Head over to the east side of the village, just south of the gate that exits out into the open world. An NPC named Belamy will be standing there with a Request symbol over his head.

Speak to Belamy and accept the Measuring Your Compatibility Request. He’ll want to be shown a Pokemon that has a high friendship level, which you should have by now unless your party has been constantly changing.

Simply keeping a Pokemon in the party and traveling with it for a while as you battle and collect items that require Pokemon assistance is enough to raise friendship levels.

Show Belamy the Pokemon to complete the Request, and from now on, he will check the friendship level of any Pokemon brought to him.

Belamy will say that “You must be quite good companions” if friendship levels are high, which is exactly what he said about my Sylveon — a Pokemon that needs high friendship to evolve.
