Pokemon GO just keeps on giving, and at the moment players have the chance to take part in the Battle League, the PvP mode for the popular mobile game. This mode gives players the chance to fight off against one another and put their teams of Pokemon to the test in live battles. As part of this, players have the opportunity to get their hands on Scraggy, the orange dinosaur Pokemon introduced in Generation V.
This Dark and Fighting-type Pokemon cannot be found by simply exploring the world. Instead, players will have to spend some time working through the Battle League mode if they’re going to add Scraggy to their Pokedex.
How to Get Scraggy in Pokemon GO
To get Scraggy in Pokemon GO, players must reach Rank IV in the Battle League. This requires players to complete 15 battles against other players in the Battle League.
The good news is that if you lose a game, you won’t lose any ranks, so as long as you complete 15 battles whether you win or lose, you’ll get there.
After reaching rank IV in the Battle League, you’ll then need to win four more battles. If you have a Premium Pass, you’ll only need to win two battles rather than four. At this point, you’ll be guaranteed to encounter Scraggy, giving you the chance to catch it and make it your own.
Can You Catch Scraggy in the Wild?
At the time of writing, you cannot catch Scraggy in the wild like many other Pokemon in the game. However, this may change in the future following a major update to the game. If anything does change, we’ll be sure to update this post and let you know.
