In case some of your friends are playing on other platforms, here’s everything you need to know about whether PGA Tour 2K21 has crossplay.
In the new game, you’re able to take on other players online, trying to get the best score and improve your character. Therefore, it’d be nice to have the option to play against all of your friends.
Does PGA Tour 2K21 Have Crossplay?
In short, no, PGA Tour does not have crossplay, so you won’t be able to play against your friend on the game’s various courses, but you can still make your mark on the game on all platforms.
This was confirmed before release as the 2K development team (HB Studios) answered some frequently asked questions on Reddit.
One question was “In online matches, will players be able to play “crossplay” with players on other platforms?” Their answer was:
“There will not be any crossplay, but courses designed by our community can be shared across all platforms. Users will be able to import their courses from The Golf Club 2019 and edit them with the new tools and assets available before publishing them in PGA Tour 2K21.”
Therefore, you’ll be able to play on any courses created and uploaded by your friends on other platforms and vice versa. If traditional crossplay ever comes to PGA Tour 2K21, we’ll be sure to update you here.
