Sending a Calling Card in Persona 5
The dungeons (or Palaces, as they’re referred to in the game) in Persona 5 work a little differently from past games in the series. In this latest entry, you can’t simply power your way through a dungeon and take out the bosses in one day. Instead, you’ll have to secure a proper infiltration route to the Palace’s treasure, and then send a Calling Card to the owner.
To send a Calling Card, all you have to do is make your way to the end of the dungeon, where the treasure is located. Once you find it, the game will inform you that you can’t steal the treasure until it takes on a material form. You’ll then be prompted to leave the dungeon. The next day, you’ll meet up with your party members at the hideout, and you’ll have the option to send out a Calling Card. Be warned that this is essentially a point of no return; once you send it out, you’ll be sent straight to the Palace the next day, where you have to secure the treasure and defeat the boss. After that, the Palace will be destroyed, and you won’t be able to return to it. Before sending out the Calling Card, make sure that you’ve explored it thoroughly and opened all of the special locked chests.
