How to Change Clothes in Persona 4 Golden

Unlike most other games, armor that you purchase won’t directly affect your appearance in the game. Instead, you’ll want to look at the clothing option in your equipment menu, and equip clothing articles there to change your appearance.

From the main menu, go to Equipment, then go to the Clothing option. Select that and you’ll see a menu of all the clothes you’ve unlocked so far, and you can equip whichever one you want. Your character’s appearance will only change when you’re within the TV world.

You can get new outfits through story events and NPCs, but it’s also possible to purchase them.

How to Get New Outfits

With the release of Persona 4 Golden, a new shop has been added that lets you purchase new outfits and equip them in dungeons. To unlock this shop, you’ll first need to get your scooter license, which is automatically given to you as you progress the story.

After rescuing Kanji, you’ll eventually reach a story event where you can get your license alongside Yosuke. After that, on your days off, you can drive the scooter out to explore the town. After two scooter trips, you’ll eventually reach Okina City and unlock this as a new location you can freely travel to.

At Okina City, go to the west end and look for a shop called Croco Fur. This is where you can purchase new outfits and equip them on your characters. The shop’s stock regularly updates as you progress, so you’ll want to check back frequently for more options.

That’s all you need to know about how to change clothes and get new outfits in Persona 4 Golden. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
