Here’s How to Get Rid of Polluted Oxygen in Oxygen Not Included

Polluted Oxygen is a type of oxygen that your people can breathe fortunately but it’s not great for them, especially compared to the real stuff. This is because not only is the polluted air not as efficient for breathing, but it can give your colony Slimelung and other germs.

So, while you can utilize Polluted Oxygen when times are desperate, it’s best to get rid of it as soon as you can.

The first thing you want to do is pump all of your Polluted Oxygen into a single small room by using a High-Pressure Gas Vent. This vent will quickly push all of the air into a room.

Once it’s locked up tight in a single room, you need to place at least one Deodorizer (although we recommend two or even three) into the room with the Polluted Oxygen.

Let this machine run its course and in a few cycles, it will convert that Polluted Oxygen into just Oxygen. It’s important that you keep an eye on your Deodorizers during this process because every so often, they’ll need to be refueled with Filtration Medium to continue the job.

Once you’ve got that air converted to Oxygen, use the High-Pressure Gas Vent to pump it into the rest of your colony.

That’s it for our guide on how to get rid of Polluted Oxygen in Oxygen Not Included.
