When the Overwatch Summer Games 2017 Event Ends

Recommended Videos

The Summer Games 2017 event has finally arrived in Overwatch and players will be jumping into the soccer-like Lucioball event and unlocking as many new skins as they can. Of course, with over 50 seasonal items being made available and Lucioball being limited to the duration of the event, man players will be wondering when the Summer Games 2017 event ends.

According to the official Overwatch site, it’s stated that the Summer Games event will run from Aug. 8 through until Aug. 28. As such, unless Blizzard decides to extend the event for a few more days at a later date, you can expect to bid farewell to Lucioball on Aug. 28. Currently, there’s no word on exactly what time, but as soon as we find out we’ll be sure to update this post.

We’ll have posts complete with all of the new skins on offer as part of the Summer Games 2017 event in Overwatch, so be sure to check back with us soon.

It’s worth noting that the Summer Games 2017 event not only brings Lucioball back, but also introduces a new mode called Copa Lucioball. This apparently “offers a more competitive experience with placement matches, skill ratings tiers, leaderboards, competitive points, and more.”

That’s all you need to know about when Overwatch’s latest event ends. For more tips, tricks, and information on Overwatch and its Summer Games 2017 event, be sure to check out our ever-expanding wiki.
