Overwatch: How to Change Player Icon Avatar

Collect them all.

As you level up in Overwatch and gain more Loot Boxes, you’ll eventually unlock new character icons to replace the default logo one you have on your career profile. To change your icon, simply go to your Career Profile (you can do this in the main menu, or during matchmaking) and you’ll see your stats for all your characters. What you want to do is go to the tab that says ‘Player Icon’, and you’ll be able to see all the icons in the game, both locked and unlocked.

Your equipped icon will be marker with a tick in the box. From there, simply highlight the icon you want to equip, and click that. Of course, you’ll only be able to equip icons that you have already unlocked. Unfortunately, the Player Icon menu doesn’t seem to display the icon names, or give any context to them, so if you unlocked an icon that you want to equip, make sure you remember how it looks like so you can grab it quickly from the icon collection. Alternatively, once you unlock the icon in the Loot Box, you can immediately equip it from there.
