When Busan Map Will Arrive on Live Servers (Consoles) in Overwatch

Recommended Videos

Apart from the new D.Va cinematic short, Blizzard has just dropped a new map based on Busan. This futuristic city in Korea is a control point map and is divided into three parts: Sanctuary, Download, and the MEKA base. Those who are playing Overwatch on PC can actually try the map right now on the Public Test Realm (PTR). That said, some players might be wondering when they can finally play Busan on the live servers and their consoles.

Blizzard has yet to reveal an official release date for Busan on the live servers and consoles. Right now, it seems like their main focus is polishing up the new Overwatch map before anything else. However, given the release date for previous maps, we could be looking at around two to four weeks of waiting time before it comes to consoles and live servers. It’s important to note, however, that these dates aren’t set in stone and that Busan might release earlier or later on consoles and the live servers, depending on what needs to be balanced or fixed. We’ll be updating this post with more information about the official Busan release date once Blizzard reveals it. Similarly, they will also update their official social media accounts, such as Twitter and Facebook, with details about the when console players can try the map on the live servers.

The Overwatch map is a clear homage to D.Va, the Korean MEKA hero who acts as one of the many tanks in Overwatch. Some of the new features in the upcoming map include a working dancing arcade machine and even a karaoke bar where heroes can sing.
