How to Get Fang Weapons in Outward

Recommended Videos

Outward, the recently released survival RPG, is full of unique weapons that require certain recipes or the use of particular items. Here’s everything you need to know about how to get Fang Weapons in Outward.

There are nine weapons in Outward that have the Fang name, and as is the case with other weapons, the name refers to an item used for crafting it. They’re all pretty powerful, so you’ll want to try and get your hands on them. Below are the weapons and what you need to craft each of them:

  • Fang Axe: Iron Axe, 1x Predator Bones, and 1x Linen Cloth
  • Fang Greataxe: Iron Greataxe, 1x Predator Bones, and 1x Linen Cloth
  • Fang Greatclub: Iron Greathammer, 2x Predator Bones, and 1x Linen Cloth
  • Fang Halbred: Iron Halbred, 2x Predator Bones, and 1x Linen Cloth
  • Fang Greatsword: Iron Claymore, 2x Predator Bones, and 1x Linen Cloth
  • Fang Shield: Basic Outward Round Shield, 1x Predator Bones, and 1x Linen Cloth
  • Fang Club: Iron Mace, 1x Predator Bones, and 1x Linen Cloth
  • Fang Sword: Iron sword, 1x Predator Bones, and 1x Linen Cloth
  • Fang Trident: Iron Spear, 2x Predator Bones, and 1x Linen Cloth

As you can see from the list of Fang Weapons in Outward, the recipe is pretty similar for all of them. You need a basic version of the weapon type, a Linen Cloth, and some Predator Bones. All the weapons cause bleeding damage on enemies.

How to Get the Ingredients

The Iron version of weapons are pretty common items that you’ll come across, so you should need to worry about finding them when you go to craft Fang Weapons.

Linen Cloth is the same; it is used in many crafting recipes in Outward and you’ll come across them pretty quickly as you play.

Predator Bones are a little tougher to get your hands on. You get them by defeating Hyena and Wendigo enemies in the game. Once you have decided which Fang Weapon you want, and you’ve got all the ingredients needed, simply craft them.
