How to Get Class Points in Outriders

As you progress throughout Outriders, you’ll earn experience points that lead to leveling up. This is obviously vital to progressing and being able to defeat more enemies, but it is also how you’ll unlock Class Points as well.

In total, you’ll get 20 Class Points while growing your character, with the last one being given to you when you reach level 30. Every time you get one of these, you’ll get the option to invest it in whatever branch of the Class Tree Node you see fit.

How to Unlock Class Tree Nodes

Class Tree Nodes each have three main branches that correspond with different play styles: Survival, Weapon and Damage, and Anomaly. Each one features small and large nodes that are unlocked using Class Points.

Small nodes grant bonuses to your character’s abilities, including status effects and other useful boosts. Large nodes are more wide-reaching, as they’ll grant greater percentage-based bonuses and will have an impact on wider sets of mechanics.

Large nodes also have the ability to affect entire sets of skills, but only when they have the same Keyword in their description. For example, Interrupt skills could all get buffed by a single node.

How you choose to invest in your Class Tree Node is entirely up to you. You can go all-in on one section or spread Class Points out across all of them.

The best part is you can always reset your invested Class Points if need be. All you have to do is press and hold Y on Xbox and Triangle on PlayStation when in the Class Tree menu.

And that is everything you need to know about how to get Class Points and unlock Class Tree Nodes in Outriders. Be sure to check our guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
