Can You Replay Missions in Outer Worlds?

Outer Worlds is a massively sprawling universe with so many quests to complete and enemies to defeat. There’s so much to do that most players won’t even see all that there is in that world.

That said, there are no missions in Outer Worlds for you to replay. Throughout the game, you’ll be able to complete more extensive quests, but no singular missions.

Of course, that means that you’re not able to replay missions, and when it comes to the quests, the same is also true. There’s no going back once you complete a quest.

The closest you can get to replaying anything is by creating a save before you begin a quest, and then playing it a different way than the last time. However, this isn’t ideal for replaying any part of the game.

In the end, this isn’t even truly replay since you must revert to your old stats from before the quest began and lose hours of progress you earned in the process of playing through the quest.

If you want to practice speedruns, challenge yourself to find the most efficient ways to play through Outer Worlds, or see every ending, then you’ll just have to rely on save states.
