How to Get Karma and What It Does in One Piece World Seeker
One Piece World Seeker, the new game based on the hit anime series from Bandai Namco and Ganbarion, is out now and features a fully explorable open world for the first time in the series. There are loads of new and returning mechanics too. Here’s everything you need to know about how to get karma in One Piece World Seeker and what it does.
What Karma Is
Karma is essentially a meter the measures your friendship level in One Piece World Seeker. While Luffy is the only character you can actually play as, you’ll certainly come across more that you’ll recognise from the wider One Piece world as you explore the game’s setting.
It doesn’t really do anything by itself, acting as a gauge more than anything else. The only real function it has is that it opens up some side missions to you. If you’re not at the right karma level for some characters, the next side mission might not unlock.
How to Get It in One Piece World Seeker
You get Karma based on how many main missions you complete, side activities you do, and Karma missions you unlock and complete.
For example, once you’ve killed enough enemies or kill a boss a certain way in One Piece World Seeker, you will complete a Karma challenge and push up your Pirate rank.
Which requirements you need to complete can be seen by pressing the touchpad on PlayStation 4 (View button on Xbox One), going to the Karma menu, and selecting the character you want to get more Karma with.
As we said before, there’s not anything that you can specifically use it for in the game, but it’s a cool way to check how you’re progressing and to push you towards challenge milestones.
That’s everything you need to know about how to get karma in One Piece World Seeker and what it does. For more tips and tricks on the game, be sure to check out our wiki guide or search for Twinfinite.
