What the Max Level Cap Is in Octopath Traveler

Recommended Videos

Octopath Traveler has finally arrived, bringing classic turn-based combat, a stunning soundtrack, charming 2D sprite visuals, and more to the Nintendo’s hybrid system, the Switch. There’s a whole lot of content to work your way through, with each of the eight main protagonists having their own storyline that you’ll work through, and as such, you’ll likely be leveling up your characters a fair bit. Of course, then, it should come as no surprise that some players are wondering just exactly what the max level cap is in Octopath Traveler.

The max level cap you can reach with any single character is level 99. Once you reach this max level cap in Octopath Traveler, you should find most of the enemies in the game a bit of a walk in the park. Of course, even after we’d completed the main story and dove into the end game content, we still hadn’t reached the max level cap, so be warned it is quite a grind if you want to reach it, especially with all eight characters.

It’s worth keeping in mind, then, that you don’t have to reach the max level cap in Octopath Traveler. It’s simply the very highest level you can possibly reach with any character in the game. Once you reach it, you can rest assured with the knowledge that you’ve done all you can to train your party up in Octopath Traveler.
