Octopath Traveler: How to Use Bewildering Grace

How to Use Bewildering Grace in Octopath Traveler

Recommended Videos

There are eight characters in Octopath Traveler that come with their own unique fighting styles. H’aanit, for example, relies on her monsters to attack enemies and support her team, while Olberic relies on brute strength to overpower foes. That being said, everyone has a set of skills and abilities that give them an edge in the battlefield when used correctly. One particular question fans might have is how to use Bewildering Grace, one of Primrose’s many dancing skills.

The first thing you need to know about this skill in Octopath Traveler is that you’ll be placing a large gamble on your team. Bewildering Grace has different effects, and depending on the outcome, it can either be great for your party or downright deadly. For its positive effects, Bewildering Grace can be used to give your party some insane multipliers for both EXP and JP after the battle, or it can damage opponents. Either effect is what you want to be hoping for in Octopath Traveler, as the downside of Bewildering Grace includes damaging your party or completely wasting a turn by doing nothing. Worse case is that Primrose basically skips her turn, but nothing’s worse than dying by your own hand, after all.

Generally, you will want to be quite careful when using Bewildering Grace in Octopath Traveler. This skill could be pretty useful when you’re trying to grind your party, so you’re probably better off using it against normal enemies in Octopath Traveler. While it doesn’t do an insane amount of damage against your allies, you should always make sure to have a healer in your party just in case things do end up backfiring.

That’s basically the gist of how to use Bewildering Grace in the game. If you’re looking for more tips and details on Octopath Traveler, you can take a look at our expansive wiki.
