In No Man’s Sky, Iridium is a neutral element that you’ll want for use with blueprints. Additionally, it makes for a great trading commodity. You know, if you could care less about upgrades and just want to be rich. The most distinct characteristic of iridium out in the world is its greenish tint. You might find them in floating eggs on a planet or in an asteroid field, but either which way you’ll see a greenish tint to them. Also, be sure to check traders for their supplies, as it can also be purchased.

As mentioned before, you can use iridium for certain blueprints or as a trade commodity. Make sure you buy low and sell high in the galactic market to maximize your profits! The original value of each one is 96 units, so find whichever star system will give you the most back for your troubles in finding this uncommon element.

“A soft, white and lustrous transition metal. A much prized commodity, and popular cargo for many traders. Can be combined with other elements to create valuable alloys if recipe is available.”
