How to Quit a Mission – Nioh

Recommended Videos

If you’re having trouble with a certain mission in Nioh, and you feel the need to go back to the blacksmith to gear up a bit before trying again, you could always quit out of the mission. To do this, you need either a Himorogi Branch or a Himorogi Fragment. You’ll start off the game with a Himorogi Fragment, which is an item that lets you quit directly to the world map but at the cost of all of the Amrita on your person. You should spend all of your Amrita at the nearest shrine before using the Fragment to make the most of what you have.

However, if you have a Himorogi Branch, you can quit to the world map without losing any of your Amrita. The Branches are quite rare, and they can be earned as rewards from some missions, or picked up over the course of your journey. If you’re stranded and holding a lot of Amrita, it can be wise to just use a Branch directly to avoid the risk of losing your hard-earned Amrita.

That’s all you need to do to quit a mission and return to the world map in Nioh. Be sure to check back with Twinfinite and our ever-expanding wiki for more tips, tricks, and information on Nioh.
