NieR: Automata – Getting Money (G) Quickly

Recommended Videos

You need money to do a lot of things in NieR: Automata. In this post-apocalyptic world, the characters use gear parts from robots as currency, and they’re called G. You could farm enemies and kill them repeatedly to get a ton of money, but there are better ways to go about this.

Do side missions: The side missions in NieR: Automata are incredibly rewarding. Completion will give you experience points, materials, and a lot of money. Do them

Increase your drop rate: By increasing the item drop rate with chip installations, you can get a lot of valuable machine parts from your foes. You’re going to want to sell the Machine Cores, as those go for 10,000 G each.

Sell your trash: Look, you don’t need to have 99 of every material you pick up or get from killing enemies. If you have 99 Crystals just sitting in your inventory, you can afford to sell at least 40 of them for good money. You’ll also pick up luxury items around the world like bracelets and chokers. Sell them. Oh, and the fish you get from fishing? They’re worth a pretty penny too. Sell those.
