How to Level Up Fast in New World

Let’s cut straight to the chase: If you’re familiar with other MMORPGS, leveling up your character in New World will be business as usual. Indeed, the quickest way to level up in New World is to complete quests, explore Aeturnum and defeat hostile enemies.

When you arrive at a new settlement, it’s best to pick up as many quests as you can by talking to the numerous NPCs that populate the area. Once you receive a new quest, you’ll be able to track it and view its icon on the map.

Main quests give you the most XP, but side story, faction and town board quests will give you some, too. That said, we’d suggest following the main storyline quests first, as they reward players with the majority of the XP compared to other tasks. In other words, if you focus on the main story, you’ll be leveling up faster than, say, doing random town board quests.

Of course, the main quests do have a ‘recommended level’, so if you’re lower than this, it’ll probably be a good idea to do some side quest content first to help strengthen your character before jumping into the main storyline. If you take on the main quests and you’re not at the recommended level, you’ll likely get stonewalled by a bunch of overly powerful adversaries. You’ve been warned!
