Where to Find Kecleon in New Pokemon Snap

To start out, head over to the Elsewhere Forest. This is the only place in the game where you’ll be able to find Kecleon. and Like we mentioned, Kecleon has the ability to almost turn invisible. Just like a chameleon, it can mimic its surroundings to essentially disappear from sight. But if you have a keen eye, you should be able to spot it.

There are two things you’ll notice when you finally spot Kecleon. First, you’ll see a ghost image or an outline of the Pokemon clinging to a tree branch. It’s not easy to see, but you’ll notice it if you’re looking for it. There will also be a telltale zigzagging red stripe hanging down from the tree. Kecleon found a good hiding spot, but that red stripe should help you find it more easily (see image below).

But you’re not in the clear as soon as you find Kecleon’s hiding place. Sure, you can tell what it is, but unless Kecleon’s camouflage drops, then you won’t get any credit for the picture.

To make Kecleon more easily viewable by the naked eye (and your camera), just toss an Illumina Orb at it. This will make the Color Swap Pokemon appear (see image below). Now just aim your camera and get that shot of this tricky little ‘mon.

That’s all there is to know about where to find Kecleon in New Pokemon Snap. If you’re having some trouble finding other Pokemon in this new game, then just check out our Guide Wiki for all of the New Pokemon Snap information that you need.
