Swallow’s Identity in NEO: The World Ends With You

Throughout the game, Rindo is constantly sending messages back and forth to an online friend that he has. This friend plays a game called FanGo with him, and their username is Swallow. Swallow helps Rindo out a number of times by answering questions he has related to the Reapers’ Game and a few other topics.

During the Final Day of the game, Rindo finds out that Swallow is actually Shoka Sakurane, the former Reaper. Shoka anonymously corresponds with Rindo constantly, up until she becomes a Player in the Reapers’ Game after her Reaper status is revoked.

She stops responding to him because her account gets suspended once she becomes a Player. But Shoka reveals that she was Swallow the entire time, right before she gets erased by the Noise on the Final Day.
