In World of Warcraft there are a number of different options for high level progression. One of the best ways to get PvE gear is to progress through Mythic Keystone dungeons. Mythic Keystones are an item in game that is used to enter progressively more difficult mythic dungeons. As you battle your way through hordes of difficult enemy mobs you will get a chance to unlock new gear pieces and item drops from bosses. On top of this, when your dungeon lockout resets you will gain access to a Challenger Chest that will contain loot based on your progression that week. But how do you get Mythic Keystones to enter these dungeons? Here’s how to get Mythic Keystones in World of Warcraft (WoW).

Well, there are a number of ways that you will get these items throughout the Mythic Keystone season. Currently in Season One of Battle for Azeroth you can get Mythic Keystones after defeating the final boss of a standard mythic dungeon. This Keystone will be for a level 2 mythic dungeon. With this Keystone you will be able to enter the dungeon it is linked to and begin upgrading it based on the tier of Mythic Keystone dungeon you enter.

You are also able to get Mythic Keystones by partaking in a Keystone dungeon that another player is running. After this you will also receive a level 2 Mythic Keystone. Finally you can receive a Mythic Keystone from your Challenger Chest after your dungeon lockouts reset. This keystone will be 2 levels below your highest tiered Keystone of the previous week, or a level 2 Keystone depending on which would offer a higher level.
