In Monster Hunter World Iceborne, there is an entirely new rank of monsters and quests to take on that is separate from the hunter rank. If you’re wondering what the max level for master rank is, here’s what you need to know.
What the Max Level Cap (Master Rank) Is
So, the base hunter rank in Monster Hunter World gets maxed out at level 999, which means that no more experience can be gained after that point.
Master rank is introduced in the new Iceborne expansion and you can upgrade the rank by completing the assigned quests and then by completing other types of quests to gain experience.
We’re not entirely sure if the master rank level maxes out at level 999 as well, but we assume so since it seems to work the same way as the normal hunter rank.
We’ve seen players online that are up to MR 50 and even in their 60s but we’ve yet to see anyone above level 99, but once we get more info on the max level cap, we will update this article accordingly and let all of you know.
