In order to craft weapons, forge new armor, and create some other types of items in Monster Hunter, you will need different kinds of materials. If you’re having trouble finding it, here’s how to get Bathycite Ore in Monster Hunter World Iceborne.
How to Get Bathycite Ore in Iceborne
According to the official item description in Iceborne, Bathycite Ore is Ore from the Coral Highlands location and is formed by millennia of pressure acting upon the bones of ancient organisms.
Since the ore is new to the series, the ore can only be found in Master Rank quests and expeditions that take place in Coral Highlands by mining rocks.
The material can be pretty tough to find as it’s a bit rarer than other items but if you mine in certain areas of the Coral Highlands, you’ll have a higher chance of obtaining it.
Try mining for Bathycite Ore in area 8 and 11 in the Highlands and if you don’t find it on the first try, load up the area/expedition again and continue to grind until the item is obtained. If you keep at it, the ore shouldn’t be too hard to get.
To sum things up:
- Go to the Coral Highlands in Master Rank.
- Go to area 8 and 11 and mine all of the outcrops until you get it.
- Leave the locale and then come back and rinse and repeat.
