How to Beat Banbaro in Monster Hunter World Iceborne

Banbaro is a pretty formidable foe, taking the form of a moose mixed with a ram, or something like that. It has two huge horns that can be used as battering rams and it can also make huge snowballs and charge towards you with it several times in a row.

Dodging these attacks over and over again will be very important to make sure you don’t take too much damage, so I recommend being ready to move at any second and also keeping your stamina high.

According to the field guide in Iceborne, Banbaro’s legs are a good place to deal damage to as it will help deal with this monster’s charge attacks.

Use that clutch claw to your advantage and soften both of his legs so that your weapon can do more damage. If they heal back up, continue to repeat this method.

Shooting scatternuts and crystalburst mid-charge can also work well at stopping the beast during its charges. Essentially, stopping it from charging will be your biggest priority during the fight.

Banbaro’s Weaknesses

As for elemental advantages, Banbaro is very weak to weapons with dragon elements and just a little bit weak to fire and thunder as well. It’s resistant to water and ice so don’t bring those weapons to the battle.

Banbaro is also susceptible to all of the ailments such as stun, paralysis, and sleep, so if you can bring any items that can inflict these, make sure to bring them along with you.

Considering that Banbaro is one of the beginner monsters in Iceborne, its not too tough to take down. As long as you keep your distance and then go in when the time is right, you should not have much trouble slaying/capturing it.

And that is pretty much all you need to know about how to beat Banbaro. For more Iceborne tips and tricks, don’t forget to check out our Monster Hunter World Wiki Guide.
