Monster Hunter Rise is the latest instalment in Capcom’s popular action-RPG series. The game is launching exclusively on Nintendo Switch on March 26, and so chances are you’ll be wanting to make sure you’ve got enough free space on your Nintendo Switch to fit the game on. Here’s the Monster Hunter Rise download and install size, so you can start making space for it.
What Monster Hunter Rise’s Download Size Is
Monster Hunter Rise’s install size comes in at 6.6 GB as a digital download on Nintendo Switch, as detailed on the game’s eShop listing, or 6732 MB if we want to be really precise.
This is relatively small in comparison to other game’s on the Nintendo Switch, including its launch title The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which takes up a huge 13.4 GB — over half of the Switch’s free internal storage (after System Files have been taken into account).
It’s worth noting that the file size can change depending on whether or not there is a Day One patch, or any other future title updates.
If Capcom opts to add some new content in further down the line, or addresses a number of bug fixes or errors, the file size could get larger, so just keep this in mind.
Should there be any drastic changes in the Monster Hunter Rise install size, we’ll be sure to update this post and let you know.
