How to Get More Clothes & Outfits

First off, the clothing your character wears is linked to the armor they’re wearing.

In other words, you’ll need to go and beat some monsters, collect their parts, and then use these to craft new armor sets from the Smithy.

Each armor set has different crafting material requirements, so you’ll need to grind out different monster battles for their parts as you progress.

To change your clothes, it’s then a case of heading over to the Item Box and selecting the ‘Manage Equipment’ option to change the gear you’re wearing.

Remember, your armor isn’t just about how you look, but each armor set carries different buffs and stats that can help you take down particular monsters. As such, we’d recommend changing armor fairly regularly in Monster Hunter Rise, so you’ve always got the upper hand in combat.

Layered Armor

If you want to retain the buffs and stats of a particular armor set, but want to change up your look, then you’ll want to make use of Monster Hunter Rise Layered Armor.

Layered Armor allows you to take on the appearance of any armor set you’ve crafted while retaining the buffs and stats of another.

To change your Layered Armor in Monster Hunter Rise, head to the Item Box in your camp and select ‘Layered Armor Settings.’

Then it’s simply a case of selecting which armor you want to don the look of.
