How to Prestige in Modern Warfare Remastered & What Level It Is
As is the case in most Call of Duty games, the level cap in MWR takes on a few different forms. Here’s everything you need to know about how to prestige in Modern Warfare Remastered and what level it is.
What Level You Need to Be
The levelling system has changed slightly from the original game for the remaster. While, just as you could before, you can choose to prestige once you’ve reached the end of level 55 in the remaster, you can also do so more times.
While the highest level you could hit was 10th prestige and level 55 in the game that released in 2007, you can get up to 20th prestige in Modern Warfare Remastered, at which point you’ll be able to keep leveling up to 1000.
When you do so in the game, you will revert back to level 1 and lose all of your unlocked weapons and attachments. However, you will be able to permanently unlock one weapon each time and will get a new emblem.
How to Prestige in Modern Warfare Remastered
Once you’ve hit the end of level 55 of what ever prestige you’re on, you will be able to reset. To do so, choose the Barracks option from the multiplayer menu, then select the Prestige option.
Here, you will be able to see all of the options and emblems in Modern Warfare Remastered, including those that you’ve already unlocked. When you’re able to, the next prestige will to available to select. Click on it, confirm the choice, and you’ll be back to level 1. You’ll get an new permanent unlock token, though.
