How to Quip in Modern Warfare & Warzone

You’re not actually able to do them whenever you like. In fact, they’re tied to assassinations, with your character saying them automatically when you take someone down. To do one, all you need to do is hold R3 (E on PC) while standing behind another player and the animation will initiate.

However, you do get some freedom as to what your character says. You can unlock new quips through getting new Operators, levelling up the Battle Pass, and buying packs from the Modern Warfare store. When buying new skins, the pack will also often include new quips options for the Operator. You can then pick the one you want before the match starts.

How to Change Quip

To do so, head to the Operators tab in the Modern Warfare menu and choose the character you’re using.

Then, press Triangle if you’re on PS4 (Y on Xbox One), press the right shoulder button to cycle over to the Quips tab, and select the one you want. You’ll be able to hear what the quip is here, so don’t worry about just hoping it’s good before starting a match.

Actually assassinating someone in a game is difficult, you the best place to hear your quip might be the loading lobby area before a Warzone match.

That’s everything you need to know about how to quip in Warzone and Modern Warfare’s multiplayer. For more tips and tricks on the game, be sure to check out our wiki guide or search for Twinfinite.
