Anyone who played the original Modern Warfare games will likely know what to expect from the JAK-12. It is essentially the same as the old reliable AA-12, being a fully automatic shotgun that fires at a rapid rate. It’s not the most powerful weapon in Modern Warfare, but it’ll be good to cause quick damage in a large area.

How to Get JAK-12 Shotgun (AA-12) in Modern Warfare

Much like most of the weapons that are added to Modern Warfare and Warzone, you unlock the JAK-12 by completing a particular challenge. Thankfully, this one isn’t too tricky.

To get the JAK-12 (AA-12) in Modern Warfare, you need to get three hipfire kills using shotguns in seven different matches. Once you’ve done that, in any mode, you’ll be able to make a class from it and start unlocking new attachments.

As for tips and tricks on how to do it quickly, you’re best going for a small map and longer mode in Modern Warfare’s multiplayer. Then, run around with a shotgun like the Model 680 or Origin 12 and hipfire. Then, when you’ve got the three kills you need, quit and start another match. You should have it done in no time at all.

If you’ve only got access to Warzone and want to get the JAK-12, you can either wait until a free multiplayer weekend or try and get hipfire shotgun kills with the Origin 12 in a mode like Plunder Quads, while they’re active.

That’s everything you need to know about how to get the JAK-12 shotgun (AA-12) in Modern Warfare and Warzone. For more tips and tricks on the game, check out our wiki guide for the base game and Warzone, or search for Twinfinite.
