Tracer bullets don’t do a whole lot other than look cool and give you slightly longer-lasting evidence of where you just shot. Since there’s not much of a downside to them though, it’s cool to get them.

How to Get Gold Tracer Bullets in Modern Warfare

To get the gold ones, you need to purchase the The Executive Armorer bundle from the store in Modern Warfare or Warzone. At the time of writing, one week into Season 5, it is available, but that doesn’t mean it will be forever.

As is the case with most packs and skins in Modern Warfare, Infinity Ward will cycle them in and out of the store. If it’s not there at the time you’re looking, just keep checking back and hope it’s made a reappearance.

It will also cost you 2400 CoD Points, so it’s not cheap, but it’s currently the only way to get gold tracer bullets.

To actually use the gold ammo in game, you’ll need to use one of the blueprints that come with the bundle. The weapons in question are the Grau 5.56 and Fennec. You’ll need to make a class using one of those weapons, select the little number next to the weapon before you select it and choose the Mother Lode (Grau) or Royal Coffer (Fennec) blueprint.

You’ll be able to alter the loadout to your liking, putting different attachments on the guns, but you’ll need to use the blueprints as the base for them. In a game, you’ll see a golden hue coming from the bullets you fire.

That’s everything you need to know about how to get gold tracer bullets in Modern Warfare. For more tips and tricks on the game, be sure to check out our wiki guides for Modern Warfare and Warzone.
