How to Get Longshots in Modern Warfare
A kill is counted as a longshot in Modern Warfare and Warzone when the enemy is more than 30 metres away from you. If they’re past that point when the final bullet hits them, one will be added to your count if you’re on the camo grind.
In Warzone, it’s probably easier to get longshots since the map is so huge and players are so spread out. You don’t even need a sniper to rack up the kills, with an assault rifle being enough for most combat scenarios. It’s rare that you’ll have many fights in which there are fewer than 30 metres between you and the enemy, especially before the last zone or two.
They are possible in normal multiplayer modes and you may find you get more per match due to how many kills you’ll get compared to a Warzone game but you’ll need to play slowly and look for areas of map with long sight lines. It might be good to play Ground War too, to try and play on larger maps so that longshots are easier.
