Difficulty achievements and trophies were not something that you had to worry about in Black Ops 4 as all of the modes were online.

However, in the years before, difficulty was a big part of the series with players trying to beat the likes of World at War and Modern Warfare 2 on Veteran. A lot of the time, there was at least one trophy or achievement tied into those higher difficulties.

The early games in Call of Duty’s takeover often gave you a trophy or achievement for completing each of the game’s chapters on the tough difficulties.

Is There a Difficulty Achievement & Trophy in Modern Warfare?

As for the new game in the long running series, Modern Warfare does have an achievement or trophy that’s tied to difficulty.

To be precise, you’ll need to unlock a specific gold that’s to do with difficulty to get the platinum trophy or 1000 Gamerscore.

To be precise, it is called Out of the Fire, and it asks you to “complete every single player mission on Veteran or Realism difficulty.” On PS4, it is a gold trophy, and it is worth 150 Gamerscore on Xbox One.

If you don’t want to play on those difficulties, you’ll still get ‘Tea Time’, which is for completing the campaign on any difficulty.
