Is There Multiplayer in Modern Warfare 2 Remastered?

Modern Warfare 2 hasn’t quite got the same treatment as the first game’s remaster. The is no multiplayer in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Remastered.

The release, which costs $19.99, only features the campaign mode from the original game, fully remastered and looking better than ever.

It’s still one of the best campaigns that the shooter series has ever seen, so it’s still worth jumping into. It’s a little disappointing that the multiplayer mode we lost hours and hours of our lives to hasn’t made its glorious return.

It’s somewhat to be expected though, considering some of the game’s maps, including Rust, have been remastered and added into the new Modern Warfare game, with more to come in the future. Also, with Warzone being so popular right now, Activision probably doesn’t want to split the player bases.

If the situation changes and multiplayer is added to Modern Warfare 2 Remastered at a later date, we’ll be sure to update you here.
