What Is Invasion Mode in Modern Warfare 2? Answered

Invasion Mode is a 20v20 multiplayer mode that is combination of PvP and PvE. This means that while some of your enemies and teammates may be other people, a handful will also be AI that are controlled by the computer.

The end goal of the mode is pretty simple: be the last one standing. The first team to make it to 2000 points in the Ground War match will be declared the winner, and points are given out by killing opponents and completing objectives. That’s pretty much it.
