Minecraft Xbox One: How to Get Custom Skins

Can You Get Custom Skins in Minecraft Xbox One?

Recommended Videos

Minecraft on Xbox One has a lot going for it – an expansive world, tons of resources, in-depth crafting, and so much more. One popular feature among fans is the option to switch through their appearance. The game does have a wide assortment of costumes to choose from, so you won’t have to stay as Steve or Alex throughout your Minecraft playthrough on the Xbox One. That being said, one question players might have is if they can use their custom skins in the game.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like Minecraft players on the Xbox One can use custom skins. This has been a highly requested feature in the game, and Microsoft has confirmed that they are working on bringing it over to its console counterpart. However, as of now, custom skins are still limited to players who have the game on PC. There has been no word on when they will bring over these skins to Minecraft on Xbox One, but we will update this post as soon as we learn more details.

That being said, there are plenty of other costumes you can browse through in the game. Your character can use any of these skins, and depending on whether you bought other packs or not, you will have access to even more costumes to choose from. It’s important to note that new skins don’t necessarily add anything significant to Minecraft on Xbox One except change your appearance. While you’ll be spending most of your time in the first-person mode, you can check out your costume by switching to third-person view. On top of that, having skins will set you apart from your friends if you’re all playing together.
