How to Make Soul Campfires

Soul Campfires require at least one Soul Sand or Soul Soil in order to make. These can only be found in the Nether, specifically, in the Soul Sand Valley Biome.

Soul Soil looks very similar to Soul Sand, but doesn’t slow you down when you walk across it. Simply look out for blue flames emanating from the ground and you’ll know you can harvest the surrounding blocks to get some Soul Soil or Soul Sand. Either will work for the Soul Campfire.

Once you’ve got this, simply head to a Crafting Table and place the Soul Sand or Soil in the middle space on the grid. After that, place three of any wooden block along the bottom row, and three sticks in a triangular shape around the Soul Sand/ Soil in the center block.

This should then allow you to create a Soul Campfire.

How to Make Soul Torches in Minecraft

Making Soul Torches will again require one block of Soul Sand or Soul Soil, so make sure to stock up when you’re in the Soul Sand Valley Biome in the Nether.

After this, all you need is one stick, and one coal or charcoal to craft a Soul Torch at a Crafting Table.

How to Make Soul Lanterns

Finally, to make a Soul Lantern, you’ll need to first craft a Soul Torch, and then put that with eight Iron Ingots on your Crafting Table. This will enable you to make a Soul Lantern.

That’s everything you need to know to make Soul Campfires, Soul Torches and Soul Lanters in Minecraft. For more guides on Minecraft’s Nether update, be sure to have a quick browse below.
