Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is finally here for all Spidey fans to check out on PS4 and PS5 and boy does the game look good. The cinematics and cutscenes are all well done and Miles Morales himself looks fantastic and everything is super-detailed. The voice performances are also top-notch with some emotional moments littered throughout the campaign. With that being said, some people just don’t like watching cutscenes or if someone has finished the game and is replaying a mission, skipping scenes can save lots of time. Here’s how to skip cutscenes in Miles Morales.
How to Skip Cutscenes in Miles Morales
OK, so after playing through the main story of Miles Morales myself, it seems that only some cutscenes are able to be skipped for some reason. Big story moments that are integral to the plot usually cannot be skipped but you can skip other smaller ones that aren’t as big of a deal.
To see if you can skip a cutscene, just hit the pause menu while you’re watching it, and if it can be skipped, you’ll see an option that says ‘Skip Cinematic.’ Pressing that will of course skip the story forward so that you can get straight to the action and continue to swing around the Big Apple.
Luckily, cutscenes aren’t dramatically long in Miles Morales so sitting through some of the unskippable ones shouldn’t be too much trouble for you.
Just be aware that will not be able to view these cutscenes again unless you replay the mission and work your way back to that same point where the cinematic occurs.
