How to Shoot Arrows in Middle-earth: Shadow of War

Recommended Videos

After completing the prologue in Middle-earth: Shadow of War, you’ll gain access to Talion’s bow and arrows. Using the bow and firing off arrows is pretty easy, though you should probably keep an eye on your focus bar if you have to use it in the middle of combat.

To use the bow and shoot arrows, simply hold down the L2 button (or the LT button if you’re on Xbox One). If your focus bar is full, it’ll slowly drain as time slows down, giving you time to aim your shots. After that, just press the R2 button (RT on Xbox One) to fire the arrow. Even if your focus bar depletes completely, you’ll still be able to use the bow normally, but you’ll have to make do without the time slowdown. You’ll also only be able to carry up to five arrows at the start of the game, but you can pick up more as you progress through the game.
