How to Check the Map in Middle-earth: Shadow of War

Recommended Videos

Middle-earth: Shadow of War is a pretty big open world game with tons of things to see and activities to engage in. As such, you’re most probably going to need to make use of the in-game map if you want to tackle these things in an efficient manner.

To check Shadow of War’s map, all you have to do is press the touchpad button on PS4, or the Menu button if you’re on Xbox One. This will bring up the map, and it’ll be marked with all of the available missions and quests, as well as the locations of nearby orc captains that you can try to take down. It also shows you the locations of fast travel points, and indicates whether they’ve been activated yet or not. You can fast travel from the map, and also select certain markers and set them as your primary objective. After you’re done, just press the circle button on PS4 or the B button on Xbox One to back out and continue the game.

And that’s pretty much all you need to know about accessing the map. For more on Shadow of War, be sure to check out our wiki.
