How to Change Pilot Appearance in Microsoft Flight Simulator

To change the appearance of your pilot character in Microsoft Flight Simulator, the first thing you need to do head on over to Options via the Welcome Menu.

From there, what you’re going to want to do is go to “General” and then head on over to “Misc.”

Then, go on to “Pilot Avatar Settings” and finally from there you’ll have some options to customize your pilot avatar character. Also if you wanted to you could also change the co-pilot and the instructor too. You know, if they are getting on your nerves or you just don’t like the look of them or something.

This isn’t Black Desert Online or Monster Hunter: World or anything like that, but you do at least have some level of ability to change the look of your pilot avatar’s appearance into something that you prefer.

To Sum up:

  1. Go to Options in Welcome Menu

  2. Then go to General and then Misc

  3. From there, go to Pilot Avatar Settings and select your pilot’s appearance.

That’s all you need to know for how to change your pilot’s appearance in Microsoft Flight Simulator for PC, and eventually Xbox as well.
