How to Use Grenades in Metal Gear Survive
As you prepare to face the hordes of zombies in Metal Gear Survive, you’ll need to be aware of what gear you have at your disposal. Grenades are one of the most useful in-game items, so you’ll need to know how to use them. Here’s everything you need to know:
Firstly, you’ll need to equip them as either your left or right gadget. You do this in the Repository section of the lobby area that you’re in before a mission begins in Metal Gear Survive (it is behind you from where you first start). Here, you can change your loadout in the ‘edit loadout’ section, and this is where you’ll get the chance to equip your left and right gadgets from the options available.
Then, when in the middle of a mission, press left on the d-pad to select your left gadget, and right to do the same for your right gadget. Press and hold L1/ LB to ready your left gadget, should it be grenades. You’ll be able to direct and alter the trajectory before you let go of L1 / LB by moving your left analog stick to ensure you send it off in an enemy’s direction.
The same instructions above apply for using grenades in Metal Gear Survive if you’ve equipped them as your right gadget, except you’ll want to use R1/ RB instead.
