How to Find the Anomaly Detected in Mass Effect Andromeda
As you embark on your adventure through the Andromeda galaxy, you’ll be informed that you can scan and explore all of the small systems you stumble upon. While some of these may harbor nothing of significance, others may have an anomaly tucked away in them.
These anomalies are well worth checking out in Mass Effect Andromeda as they are normally mineral deposits or something else that you can make good use of. When you find a system that you want to scan, simply hold down the L2/ LT button on your controller. Your cursor should now have an orange ring around it, and if ‘Anomaly Detected’ appears on your screen, you’re in luck. On this orange ring of your cursor, you should notice a small arrow pointing in a specific direction in the system. Simply move your cursor in this direction and you’ll be guided to the lucrative anomaly hidden away. Once the detected anomaly is shown on your map, press R2/RT so send a probe over to check it out.
You’ll now be up close and personal with the planet or asteroid that you find the anomaly was detected on. More often than not, Mass Effect Andromeda loads it up so that the anomaly is right in front of you. If it isn’t, pan the camera around the planet until you find your well-deserved reward. That’s all there is to it.
