Getting Plasma in Marvel’s Avengers

To get Plasma, you’ll want to smash any yellow resource crates you see lying during missions. These crates are large and silver, with a yellow glowing orb in the center.

They’re the same crates that all other resources come in, such as Fragments and Nanotubes, but the color of the orb is different for each type of fragment. As long as you smash yellow resource crates, you’ll start building up your stockpile of Plasma.

On top of that, Plasma can also be obtained as a drop from defeating various enemies, so always make sure you’re picking up anything they drop before progressing through the level.

Finally, dismantling your old gear gives you a chance of harvesting some form of resource material, be it Fragments, Nanotubes, Catalysts, or Plasma. It’s seemingly random, so you’re taking a small risk doing it in that you may not receive the resource you’re after, but if you’re really desperate for Plasma then this is one option worth considering.

Using Plasma in Marvel’s Avengers

To use Plasma, press the touchpad on PS4 or the View button on Xbox One to open your ‘Gear’ screen.

From here, select the piece of gear you want to upgrade and improve the Power level of. You’ll now see more details appear in a window. At the bottom of it, it’ll tell you what resource you need and how much of it in order to perform a Power Boost.

As long as you have the required materials (in the case of the screenshot above, Plasma), press and hold Square on PS4 or X on Xbox One to boost the gear to a higher Power Level.

That’s everything you need to know on how to get Plasma in Marvel’s Avengers. Head over to our guide wiki, search for Twinfinite, or check out more of our coverage below for more on Marvel’s Avengers.
